  • i got it, you need to look forward because you are swimming in open water not in the pool. if you don't look forward then you may lost . am i right, goswim098?

  • No. To avoid swallowing water, just look forward, but breathe to the side.

  • when swiming open water... Breath as much as you want. Breath!

  • Ok, so i understand the drill. however when swimming open water should i be using this same technique? apart from maybe looking further towards the sky for the breath if you get what i mean. Thanks
