It's not uncomfortable for me to play that way... maybe I've got big hands too, but what I mean is that he refines his own music, and it is probably challenging to expand upon that main theme.

I've never seen a tab for the solo in this song.

I love your analysis of this song. Very spot on. This is one of my favorites as well. Simply love it.

thanks for this..what does that line mea "your not the perfect hand but i dont hit on 19"??

Its about not messing up a good thing by always trying 2 find something better The line is a blackjack metaphor In the card game 21 is a perfect hand Having a 19 is a gr8 hand, but u could risk it &go 4 a 21but more than likely u will fail & lose out on the 19 u had which could have been a winning hand if u just would have been satisfied with it So the line just saying that always chasing something better will make u unable 2 see u may already have what ur looking for. Great metaphor, great song

@ak231510 one question... What means "another kind of GREEN"???????
mariabelitaaa 9 months ago
@mariabelitaaa its a play on the phrase "the grass is always greener on the other side" which means always wanting what you dont have or assuming something new is going to be better, so the line in the song, "And I dont need another kind of green to know I'm on the right side with you" is just a metaphor for saying I dont need to chase something else, I just need to recongnize that Im already happy with you, and not throw it away on this fairy tale notion of perfection..
