@tebiano Corelli did have a shorter career than Domingo but Corelli had a longer list of signature roles than Domingo.Aida Chenier Forza Trovatore Tosca Carmen Ernani Don Carlo Pagliacci Poliuto&Turandot.Yes Domingo sang over 130 operas, but I cannot remember 1 signature role.Domingo has always had a problem with the strangulation of his high notes&was notorius for transposing operas down beyond acceptable practices.He has a nice quality and sings the zarzuelas very well

@davesy22 Corelli was very nervous.I saw him in Trovatore in the early1960s & thought he was thrilling. Perhaps Domingo may seem more self assured,but I also saw Domingo in th1990s& he was almost inaudible. Not anywhere close to Corelli as far as being heroic.Corelli's voice was much larger & he was able to do mezza voce & diminuendo often.Domingo's studio&live recordings always seem to be enhanced and Domingo always labored in the spinto roles like Aida Trovatore Chenier Carmen etc.Enjoy

I respect Corelli's high notes tremendously, but he always sounds nervous and almost whining in his expression. Domingo's is more self-assured and heroic.

Non capisco cosa c'entra Lanza con questi due artisti...loro sono due tenori che hanno cantato sempre in teatro, Lanza è poco più di Bocelli, vocalmente parlando...saluti

@jennygirl709 They are both perfect voice,and there is a lot other but I share your taste.Lanza maybe had not polished as much but he had something no others had,an incredible filings touch hearts.Caruso had it or try Benjamino Gigli.Viva Lanza!!!!! Happy new year from Toronto
