@mulishaman187 you are definitely right on some of them. but to say that every Christian band is trying to be rockstars is ignorant. any band that does worship songs kill their chances of making it in the mainstream. theres even a mainstream Christian market, which is under what you hear on all the top 40 but what you will hear on Christian hits stations. and then theres even Christian music not known enough for Christian top 40, those bands might be striving for Christian mainstream

Who cares? Kevin is an artist and respects ALL bodies of works. A true artist does not edit himself for the sake of making others feel comfortable. Kevin is very talented and his body of work should be left as unapologetic.

he struggles like any of us he does not hide

he may be crying out to the lord in his own way

so this is something for everyone we have to pray

he thinks very deep as many of us don't

so all we can do is pray and hope

David and Jesus thought deep as many did in the past

barely anybody does today so we are going nowhere fast

if you don't have others that think deep

you might end up singing a song called creep

So naive. DC Talk always wanted to be mainstream. Christian music is like the minor leagues, some get called up and some don't. You really think the majority of your favorite bands sit backstage praying for God to help them minister to the people? No most are living like rockstars dreaming of the day they can drop the farce. But I'm talking to people who believe that 2 of EVERY animal lived on a boat the size of a 4 bedroom house, so of course you think they are sincere in there convictions.

great job with this cover- it's one of my favorite songs. very authentic and raw, but kevin does look to be possibly struggling or something. this is the first time i've seen him like this. i'll be praying for him & i'd also like to wish him God's blessings. thanks for the upload!
