Value Voters Summit 2009

I went to the Values Voter Summit of 2009 and was surprised - shocked, I tell you - to find that, evidently, the only elected officials with "values" are Republicans. But here's the thing... No matter how hard I looked, I couldn't find John Ensign, David Vitter, Mark Sanford (or his gay Lt. Gov), Larry Craig, or Mark Foley.

Disappointed!

Alas, all not was lost - I did find Bill O'Reilly and Gov. Tim Pawlenty.

We were a better country before the simple message of Jesus (a.k.a. Christianity) was hijacked by the moral majority, closed-minded fundamentalists, and other so-called Christians - the modern day Pharisees. Not coincidentally, both Islam AND many Christian sects and denominations veered sharply toward more radical fundamentalism - at the same time (late 70s / early 80s).

Why do we have to have so much party politics talk? While you make a video mocking republicans, the banking cartels and wall street are robbing us right in front of our eyes.

Think beyond the scope of the left/right paradigm. Republicans are hypocrites, dems don't have guts...both parties are bought up and paid for by the big banks.
