Performed at The Cove, in San Antonio, TX, 4/28/09. Song written by Paul Simon.
I've done this one as a regular recording as well. I recently learned the little intro but messed it up a bit as I tried it out in a performance for the first time (argh).

Enjoy.

  • good singing dude!

    good rhythym too...

if I may suggest.....due to what sounds like feedback drone that

sort of walks on your voice....a bit of RH damping/muting would keep the guitar from

generating that feedback droning loop effect.

But it may just have been the recording, and not how it sounded in the room.

    checkin out your other stuff...

  • @gtrrobster - thanks for the kind words.

Being an open mic, I was at the mercy of the host's set-up. However, I think it's more the recording than the live sound. I was only using my digital camera, which takes crappy video (as you can see).

I will give your stuff a listen as well. -Rob

  • LIttle boo boos don't bother me. Good job.

  • Thanks, flip. It's been so long ago, was there a boo in there? Thanks for stopping by. -Rob

  • It's never the mistake that counts - it's how good you are at recovering..

You did a great job, Rob..

  • Ain't that the truth. I didn't do the beginning very well so when it came time to do it at the end, I just decided, in my head, to skip it. Nobody is the wiser, right?

  • Thanks. I messed up the beginning and decided not to try it again at the end. I didn't want to mess up a good thing. -Rob
