When the Givargiznia family's Turlock home was burglarized it wasn't the missing plasma televisions or the video game system that was their primary concern, it was the heavy safe the thieves took that contained valuable family memories, like birthing videos and photos, passports, birth certificates, and grandparent's jewelry. The Givargiznia's 10-year-old son, Dylan, had battled leukemia for three years before the family thought they were in the clear in 2008, however, Dylan relapsed in March of 2009. The family feels their luck cannot get worse, and are imploring the thieves to return the family's valuable memories that were contained in the safe.

I was burglarized in Modesto just about a year ago, about 10 in the morning someone came ringing my doorbell and my parents weren't home and I had just woken up so I didnt feel like going to the door. Next thing you know theres someone in my kitchen looking around. I got a quick glimpse of him as I peeked around the corner and he didn't see me and I called the police. It was pretty frightening. Now that I look back on it I wish I could've hit him with a bat. He made off with my dad's laptop.
