I received the call today.. His name was Roger from India. I didn't give him access, but he said he would use Team Viewer to access my computer. I had the same echo on the phone when talking. Of course I didn't give him any information.

I had one of these the other day where the guy told me that he couldn't tell me my own IP address because of the Data Protection Act. I said, well who gave you my details? He said 'BT did'. So I told him that BT was in breach of the Act, and after I commence proceedings against them I'll be calling him as a witness, and would he please give me his name and address. *click*

They called me today as well which is why I ended up seeing this video. I couldn't help but laugh when they saif they were receiving signals from my computer that indicated "widespread corruption". I asked them how stupid they thought I was haha.
Thanks to all those folks you have told them to call 'Peter Brown'. We have had some fun taking these calls on your behalf.
Here is a dialogue that cut them short...
Caller: "Is your computer running slow?"
Us: "No"
Caller: "Are you sure your PC isn't slow?"
Us: "Yes, it's really fast"
Caller: "Oh... Goodbye"
