There was a guy in Seattle who inherited a warehouse of some sorts when his dad died and he shut it down and instead of selling it, he told all the local artists to come and paint. Some of it's shit but during it's life there were some really cool pieces, Seattle has a pretty good graffiti underground. The local businesses complained to the city and I believe they told him to stop. He argued that it was art, sadly I only half agree. Not all of it was art, like I said, there was some real crap!
