I wrote this guitar solo

This is BY NO MEANS a final copy. I realize there are a lot of mistakes in it and the quality is bad. I didn't try to make it perfect.

I'm putting this up to get people's opinion of the song, not the playing.

This is a solo I wrote about a year ago, forgot about for a long time, then a couple days ago, found it written up in Guitar Pro; so I decided to re-learn it. This solo is meant to be in a song I wrote called "Fragile Earth II," which 1) I have not finished and 2) is 14 minutes long so far and incredibly epic :p.

The computer in the frame is playing the rhythm guitar and the drums. The actual solo part, I am playing (as if that wasn't obvious)

@sweeno565 try making a simple, yet effective and enjoyable, riff, then soloing over it while someone else (or a computer program) plays it. doesnt sound like much but the more you do it the better you get. i would recommend doing that at minimum once a day (which is why i suggested the computer program option)

Pretty cool, When you learn how, you will be able to do what that cloth does with your right hand and your left hand, it's a whole other aspect of playing, keeping notes clear and loud, while muting all the other strings and slop, It took me years to get it down especially when soloing and sweeping up /down the board. You won't need that cloth there anymore.
