  • Fairly useless in a race gun like the TS. You won't be getting in the Major class anyway because the round caliber is too small, and you sacrifice magazine capacity compared to a 9x19mm.

  • Yes but if you live in a country where you cannot have

    A. A Caliber over 9mm

B A magazine with more then 10 rounds

It makes major under IPSC rules, NOT USPSA RULES

  • All I can say is thats what the chrono tells us and I know that the chrono is accurate.

Only other possibility is that we were to close to the sensors and that may have caused an issue, never tried it since

  • He is MAN-HANDLING those .357sigs

  • @Riflemanm16a2 That is exactly what I was thinking. Very impressive. Does anyone know the barrel length of that pistol. Those numbers are a little hard to believe. I'm not saying that anyone is lying, but those numbers are sky high for the .357SIG cartridge out of a handgun.

  • 357sig + long barrel = 1800+FPS. That is awesome awesome.

  • Wow. Nice--I am liking this .357 sig round. If you are really getting 1800 fps that is crazy--something doesn't sound right. I read that the .357 sig can be faster in longer barrels (5-6inch) but I have not done any research yet. Now I am thinking you have a 5 inch barrel so you may have more than 1400 fps.

I still think it's fun loading a revolver cylinder, but that's a whole different 'thang

  • Pistol Man.

  • This guy... that's some damn good shooting!

  • By the way, that is some nice shooting at 0:20

  • @CleonLJK

FYI for CleonLJK: IDPA allows only 10 rounds in a magazine and allows SIG 357 for competition. It's based on grain weight of the bullet and minimum velocity not caliber size. It's also a more out of the box competition versus a heavily modified version.

  • Excellent shooting. Surprised at how well you controlled the recoil from the SIG-357 caliber. Hope we are on the same side in any disagreement.
