i'll tell you what seems to be appealing about Sarah Failin. she appeals to straight men on the basis of lust. deep down inside conserve men really are base pigs when it comes to their sexuality. look at all the scandalized g.o.p. ers. the men like her cause she talks their lingo and secretly they'd like to fuck her. the women who support her are women who have no sense of themselves beyond being WANTED BY MEN, and having men take care of them like they're children.

The Republicans need to get the now-seventy-five-year-old Ron Paul in the White House. He is thoughtful, intelligent, a true Constitutionalist/libertarian/­classic liberal, not a warmonger, and is against American imperialism, all of which somewhat sexy Sarah is not. Unfortunately, he seems not to be a friend of Israel.

I think the stats about black protestants getting more STDs is WAY MORE DAMNING than the one about Evangelical women. Probably 70% of the women in this country are white and more than half are evangelical where as such a small percent of women are black and are probably all christian. That was a pretty damning piece of data for the point this slimy Alinsky-tactic-using worm used.

@RookhKshatriya All true. Palin's greatest appeal lay in her being different than the largely panned John McCain. She was a conservative when he was not.

However, she is not presidential material. She is simple-minded, provincial, and crude, all traits admired by the white working class set.

She will long have a place at the debate I'm afraid, but she has no hope of becoming President of the US.

If Palin were fat and ugly would anyone listen to her? Of course not. Her appeal is sexual, pure and simple. More, she has an 'attainable', 'hot neighbor' appeal (unlike snotty fashion models, actresses and other American female celebrities) that ordinary Joes find irresistible. Simple, really.

@Vader21690 In the true sense of the term, Stalin was not a communist, he was a totalitarian dictator. Such a figure -- by definition -- is not a communist.

Much like Hitler -- who sent German commuinists to the death camps -- Stalin sent those on the real left in Russia to the gulags. Are we clear?
