"On The Vista" featuring Mos Def (produced by The Black Keys) - An incredible track from the forthcoming Blak Roc Project, an independently released album from The Black Keys and media mogul Damon "Dame" Dash (former co-principal of Roc-a-Fella Records). The Blak Roc Project will be released to the public on Black Friday, November 27th, 2009 and will feature contributions by Mos Def, Jim Jones, Raekwon the Chef, RZA, Pharoahe Monch, Q-Tip, Billy Danze of The Mash Out Posse, Nicole Wray, and others. All Production was done by The Black Keys' Dan Auerbach and Patrick Carney.

This is exactly why I've been trying to do hip hop/ rock projects. It's hard to find people willing to put forth the effort because you gotta let the musicians who play the instruments tweek it til its right. No one wants to take their time and get it right. This is a hip hop album produced by a rock band called The Black Keys and Dame Dash. The guitar riffs in the album are definitely heavily influenced by the Black Keys style. Been wanting to form a band this good for while now.
