Killing people is a depressive thing.
Good movie though.

@1hogfan83 i don't actually think Robert Ford was carrying a schofield, it is certainly a Smith &n Wesson model 3. you can tell by the size of its frame. But on close examination throughout the scenes in which the gun can be seen it doesn't have the schofield grip or the top break latch of the schofield, but has the latch of the eariler american model. which would simply make this pistol a .44 calibre smith & wesson model 3 revolver

@ravenouscolonelhart Noble is hardly a word I'd use descriping Jesse James. ;) That being said, I too felt sad watching Wild Bill and Jimmy get it. ;(

does every noble gunman have to see it coming? Wild Bill in Deadwood, Jesse James here, Jimmy in Boardwalk Empire, EVERYONE in The Wire. Hell can't one of 'em just turn coward, shoot a few underlings, disappear and presumably live another couple decades?

.......if only it was Justin Bieber.

nice schofield
A warning to all of you who watch this movie because of the Yogi parody. The film is very slow, the tone is very bleak and depressing, but it is an extremely beautiful and well made movie. Easily one of my top 10 favorites. Jesse gets to the point where he's so depleted and tired of running, that he allows Ford to kill him.

I'm 25 years old. I've seen tonnes of films since I could remember. But this film and particularly this scene means so much to me, that I will not have words to describe it. I've told every people I know to watch this film. This is by far the greatest thing I've seen on TV, and will definitely still be for the rest of my life. Casey Affleck and Brad Pitt's acting were sublime. I never liked Brad, but I love him now thanks to this film. I told my family to play that tune in my funeral.
