@10uhcplz1 Its forgiven brother, and we HAVE GOT to study for what the word says and not what we believe to try and twist it. But yeah you did offend me, but its alright its already been forgiven.
@7moseley7 Brother I agree. While I agree with you on the comment about the greek and hebrew and know full well of it's importance in true bible study,....let me add..it takes the guidance of the Holy Spirit to to fully comprehend the word. I am a life long student of the word and have reaped many a benefit from doing so. I want to offer an apology for the UPC remark. That was uncalled for and didn't represent the true spirit of christian love. Please forgive me.
@10uhcplz1 For unto us a child is born! unto us a son is givin, and the government shall be upon his shoulder and HIS NAME SHALL BE CALLED woderful, counsulor, THE mighty GOD, THE EVERLASTING FATHER,and the prince of peace!
@10uhcplz1 I KNOW NOT ANY. You NEED realize how great GOD is that he can Make himself a body and dwell there, he can pour out HIS spirit upon us and also do things of his GODLY nature ALL SIMUTANEOUSLY!!! The greek word for ONE is echad, which means single, alone. DT:6:4.... NT James 2:19 The Hebrew word for ONE is HEIS. Which means ABSOLUTELY ONE, not in UNITY, but PRIMARY NUMERAL ONE!
@10uhcplz1 Joel prophesied about the Holy ghost being poured out and it came to pass in acts 2. That spirit thatwas in Christ is the Holy Ghost which is also the FATHER. JOHN 4:24 said GOD IS A SPIRIT. NOT GOD IS MULTIPLE SPIRITS. ALL through ISaiah God says there is NONE like ME, WHO will you liken me to or make me EQUAL to for I AM GOD AND THERE IS NONE ELSE. I AM THE LORD that maketh all things... BY MYSELF! There is none like me, none beside me yea there is no other god...
@10uhcplz1 Im glad to see you studied. Study a little bit more of the greek and hebrew and youll get the full revelation of GOD and how the FATHER manifests himself "Manifest comes from a greek word that means revealed" SO the FATHER reveals himself in FLESH as he did a burning bush and a rock and many other things. GOD is a spirit john 4:24. He made the body of Christ and dwelled there. Christ was fully man and fully God but the spirit that was in him was not his, but it was God.
@7moseley7 ...nowhere does this imply in any way that Jesus and the Father are the same person. Jesus is God in the flesh, not the Father in the flesh. Nowhere is that term taught in the bible. Who is the Father? God. Whos is Jesus? God. Who is the Holy Spirit? God. Study to show thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth...2 Tim. 2:15. Ask the Holy Spirit to guide you in to ALL TRUTH, John 16:13. He is the teacher.....God Bless!!!
@7moseley7 John 14. 1."believe in God, believe in Me." 6."no man cometh unto the Father but by me." 7. If you had known me. you should have known my Father also. Known here in the greek...ginosko, to learn to know, come to know, same as an intimate relationship like man and wife. 2 shall become one flesh. They are one but at the same time 2. Verse 9, "he that has seen me has seen the Father." seen here in the greek, horao..seen with the mind, percieve, know, acquainted by experience. nowhere
@7moseley7 Yet another UPC cliche'. I dare not refer to God as what as you suppose. God is one with 3 distinct personalities. I believe you're refering to John 14:9 to get part of that so called quote and then John 8:24 for the other part that you've twisted out of context. In John 14 Jesus is the one speaking to Phillip, not the apostles teaching that He is Father. In John 8 He is addressing the scribes and Pharisees. DO YOU BELIEVE THAT JESUS IS THE SON OF GOD?
@10uhcplz1 Your referring to God as a "what" and not a "who". Like a football "team" has no spirit but the players do. So you believe God is 3 "whos" and 1 "what". We believe in 3 whats ONE "WHO". And the apostes asked Jesus to see the father and Jesus said unto them, "if youve seen me youve seen the father! I f you believe not that I AM THE FATHER you shall die in your sins!"
