You can train your dog to greet guests calmly and politely with a few basic tools - your dog's mastery of the Sit and Stay commands and a willing friend. This video moves through on-the-leash to off-the-leash training, as your visitor repeatedly enters the door.

  • my dogs to stuburnd -_-

  • NONONO! don't say ok! ok is a too commonly used word. you may cue your dog to sit, they will sit and then you will be talking to your houseguest and be like, "Ok so how's it going?" and your dog will get up. Instead use a much less commonly used word like "All done" or "free dog." These phrases are much less likely to come up in everyday conversation!
