This video is about the bond of family and friendship and how music plays such an important part. After the clippers are put away, the guitars come out, and friends stop by for a jam at Larry's Barber Shop. Tonight is special. It's the eleventh birthday of Larry's granddaughter, Brooke, who is learning to play the mandolin. The setting is more than a place for music and haircuts. It's been a place for traditional values and good fellowship for forty-three years. It's a place where you may feel that time has stopped for you, and you can stay a while.
@chellebelle10186 Thanks so much for your personal comment. It was a lot of fun to make this video.

Larry is my great uncle and Brooke, my cousin. Love them both! Larry has always been a wonderful Uncle and sweet as pie. I am very proud of Brooke for learning the guitar, which she plays often, and learning the mandolin. She can be a handful but she's great :)

@grizzlyten Thank you for taking the time to comment, Cheryl. Recently, Larry had over 30 people in the shop after hours. When business is slow, I have come in and found him playing his guitar and singing. He's a kind soul and the kind of grandpa I would like to be.

Wow, how special that these people get together after hours to play and sing. It's wonderful that the granddaughter joins in, too. She's really good! As are the others. too. Sweet video - loved it. Thanks!
