Yeah, I don't know why more players don't do this. Drones (and even hatcheries!) can go down FAST to dropship play, so I always like to leave a few spine crawlers behind my mineral line to discourage drops, and distract my opponent long enough to get my forces home without losing workers.

If my opponent is really persistent with drops, I also like to leave a few burrowed banelings in prime drop locations.

HD likes roaches against zerg and protoss, but they aren't great against terran bio. It's a combination of the slow attack speed against large numbers of weaker units, the hard counter from marauders, and the terran ability to scan them wherever they burrow. Now if the terran goes for mech, then roaches are definitely worthwhile. They blow apart hellions, are decent against thors (especially in combination with speedlings), and can even be good against 1 or 2 seige tanks.

Should've dropped a couple spinecrawlers by each of your mineral lines with all those extra minerals!
