At a press conference in Atlanta, U.N. Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon expressed his deep concern in the aftermath of the tragic cyclone that struck Myanmar last weekend.

He pledged that the U.N. would work with all appropriate global leaders and organizations on a coherent strategy to get humanitarian aid into the hands of needy victims.

He called for Myanmar's military junta to allow aid workers access to visas.
