Thank you so very dearly for sharing the beautiful memories of your Nikki and Cody. It's obvious they led full and happy lives with you as their companion. Schanuzer's are truly amazing dogs, I have a 3 year old mini that has been riddled with various health problems for most of her life. Yet, she lives with a zest for life that I never dreamed of! I wish you peace in knowing that they are happy and waiting for you to one day join them in a better place.

I'm sorry for your loss and problems with the breed. I was fortunate, but have heard of many owners of pure breds having their "Known Problems". I miss my dogs every day, as I'm sure you do as well. Would I do it all over again......Yes, but not now.

johnmarccarr, Its so hard to lose a pet because they are a part of your family. By the way I have a mini schnauzer who looks just like nikki. He's 2 years old and all he wants to do is play.

Yes, it is hard and think about them everyday, and will forever. Your pets seldom outlive their owners, so heartbreak is always inevitable, but the joy they gave me in one of their lifetime was well worth it.
Mini Schaunzer are one the smartest breeds I've come across. Playful and will always know when something is wrong, they can lift your heart in push with their nose to yours.
Mini- Schaunzer live to be anywhere from 12 to 15 years.
