@WallyWadeMovies The last time a handgun was pulled on me in June of 2010. It was a Makarov in a crowded Afghan street that my unit was patroling. I'm sure the guy thought the same thing that you did, right before i broke his wrist, flipped the barrel to his face, and it discharged into his head as his broken finger wedged the trigger. But, I'll never know though.And I'm only a brown in MCMAP. That's the real law of the street. Where men saw your head off if they capture you.

I dont give a shit about your training, if i want a hostage, i can take one. And if i cant, then that means you're dead. There is no maybe in there. You either cooperate or we cut you loose. Speaking from personal experience, Krav Maga has a much better handle on this stuff than this guy. I had the ultimate privilage of going to an IDF base to see them in action, those guys are gods.

@WallyWadeMovies Usually, thanks the the US Marine Corps for macing me in the eyes, gasing me in a sealed room, hazing me in 110 iraqi heat, and blacking me out in a swim qualification, i can say in good faith that an elbow to the nose, or a "whack in the back of the head" is only going to make me take your life when you produce a gun.

usually when i hold someone up (this is if i dont want to shoot him, because if i wanted you dead you wouldnt even know it until up to the moment) its always best to rock the guy before you get the drop on him. A disoriented shield wont pull this superhero shit on you. A whack in the back of the head or an elbow to the nose will rob him of his physical senses, but will enhance his common sense and will begin to cooperate with the gunman
