Np. Maybe I'll go check it out. AlltoAVI lets you choose or take out subtitles and audio. It's a great tool. If it asks for your video to be converted into H.264 or what not, choose no. It takes longer to convert and at the end might not work for Sony Vegas. Anyway, I'll let you figure things out. AND YES! It took me a while to figure that out too. Maybe a year into using both did I only realize that fact. xD

Btw, I use AlltoAVI for .mkv files. It's free and it should work for Sony Vegas. I always choose XVID... Or so I think... I get confused sometimes, if I choose XVID or DIVX. xD
