  • Yes this is a very good way to make cultured butter and buttermilk. The butter is cooked on such a low flame that it does not kill the good bacteria. The process is to remove the water and lock in the nutients in the ghee. This method has been used for thousands of years and it really works. The taste is also very different.

    Hi there,

    Most cakes can be made with substituting either apple sauce or dried apricots that have been mixed with water and pureed and placed in as eggs. I use 1/4 cup applesauce or 1/4 cup pureed apricots. Good luck.

  • Brilliant! This is what I have been looking for. Real Ghee or Ghrtam is made from Yoghurt solids not milk solids...:)

  • please help!! i put my yogurt into the processor but it didn't seem to work... it wasn't turning into butter, just staying like whipped liquidy-yogurt. is it because i need to ad ice water to it at the start? what should i do!? i don't want it to go to waste so i hope to hear back soon, thanks mata!
