SkillsUSA WorldTeam - Highlights of WorldSkills 2011, Part 1

The SkillsUSA WorldTeam is representing the United States at the 2011 WorldSkills Competition in London. Here is Part 1 of video highlights from the event.

Contest organizers are expecting more than 1,000 competitors from 53 countries competing in 41 official technical skills competitions and five demonstration contests.

This is the largest SkillsUSA WorldTeam yet, with 17 competitors competing in 17 contest areas. WorldTeam members will compete for the first time in four new contests—beauty therapy, graphic design, restaurant service and Web design. WorldSkills is the pinnacle of excellence in skilled trades and technologies training.
