first, congratulation to your name, i think it´s a really nice name and it´sounds very well.
oh, .. you met fish in paderborn and talk to him. thats fine.
but, do you really think fish talks to everybody about all his feelings and wound from yesterday ? maybe to each he met one and finaly also the last time in his life ?
do you not believe there are deep cut´s in his life he want to forget ? sorry,
i believe the story is more credible as you´re one time talk.

My father bought the album Misplaced Childhood and in my opinion it is the best I've ever heard because all songs have this touch, and are part of the album. When I'm listening to this CD, then I've to listen to the hole album and not to one song of it. I wish new albums of other groups could do it this way too... But new albums always have to be FUCKING COMMERCIAL...

Could a native English speaker post this lyrics? Write them down and copy them here? Thanks. Best love song ever!!!
A few years ago i gained this version with the story told above. If i've made a mistake and someone can give me the 'real story' than i shall edit my comment.

'Childhood Rehearsals' is a live album, which explains why the lyrics sound nearly same as on the 1984 Hammersmith Odeon CD from Early Stages. Early Stages comes with a booklet where Fish talks about each concert, and he says; "I didn't have "Kayleigh" written down and jammed the words every night we played it. Some moments were tentative but overall the version we were performing was the definitive album arrangement."
Any evidence for "The text was changed because it seemed to be too personal"?

The recording where i stripped this Kayleigh from, starts with Fish telling the audience that this is a new song from an album te be released the next year.

@pietvanpa01 If Fish's preamble mentions it is a new track and a new direction and that the album will contain two tracks, called side 1 and side 2, then this was recorded from a live concert in late 1984 and broadcast on BBC Radio 1. There was no Lavender, Bitter suite was somewhat different and the lyrics of Heart of Lothian were slightly different as well ("looking like vultures at a watering hole"). 15 year old me taped it from the radio and played it until the tape snapped.
