Anime Detroit 2009

I was there from 11am to 7:30pm. I had a great time! Met a ton of really nice people and even won in the cosplay contest. I got best craftsmanship. I think this con proves more then anything that it doesn't take a huge attendance to have a great time. The dealers room was great, and even though the artist alley was very small everybody had great stuff. The panels were nice and the cosplay contest was fun, we even had a halftime dance. XD Amber found out she has a love for pocky and I'm glad she had a great time. I'm definitely coming back next year.

If your going to comment on this video I discourage you from talking about the drama that happened between the staff of youmacon and anime detroit. Save the drama please @_@

i have some comments/questions about anime detriot.....

I heard that some dealer got thrown out from youma and started this con, is this true? and for what reason?

I love watching vids from this con, it reminds me what a great time I had a couple years ago. xD We made quite a scene with that "Pokemon battle" my friend threw me into, eh? xDDD

I agree. Besides website organization and info organization, that con was a blast. It reminded me soooo much of when I went to Youmacon in its first year. x3 Oh, by the way I was the crazy Tamaki that was dancing up there (and all over the place at AD). xD
