Well I can tell you that a 2008 CBR 600RR is faster than the 2007 & the 2009 600RR!!! In 2008 Honda made nice, but subtle changes to the CBR600 & it is a beast! My '08 600RR is a fast machine! A lot of 1/4 mile races, especially on bikes depends on the rider providing the bike is in sound condition... That being said, the 2008 600RR will beat the older 900cc Hondas in the 1/4 mile! But beat a true Honda Repsol bike... Not happening!!!

@83oldspro I gotta agree with you buddy! But then again, the time that vid was taken, i use to weigh around 55-60kg and the other guy around 100kg.... So guess i had some sort of an advantage :P

i run liter bikes alot... i kill em off the line and it often takes the whole race to catch back up! (1/8 mi... they got no chance!)

@carbonrrpilot yep, a 12 year old with a full grown beard, a sweet diesel truck, a set up quad, a full time job as the motorcycle mechanic for twistit motorsports, and an 02 cbr954rr. get on my level bitch im 19 and have progressed pretty damn far into this field for only being a year out of highschool and without having a worthless degree from MMI let alone any schooling as a mechanic for anything.

@carbonrrpilot yeah, its up to the rider to ride the liter bike better than the faggot next to him on a 600. if you perfect the start on the liter bike, then what....? any great rider on a 600 can whoop on a shitty rider on a liter bike. find 2 great riders and you see that there is a HUGE difference between a 600 and liter bike hm go figure

If anything the guy on the 929 is being kind to the 600! Usually the 600 would get shat on royally! especially in a straight line.
