This "Rear deltoid- rotator cuff" Exercise is a must if you want big, pain free shoulders. The advantage is that you do not need any equipment.

This exercise is awesome for pitchers, tennis players, golf, quarterbacks, etc. It is the best rehab exercise that builds muscle at the same time.

A friend of mine, Tom Venuto has been incorporating these type of unbalanced power movements into his own program. And he has been sharing it with his "Burn The Fat, Feed the Muscle" Inner Circle members.

Craig Ballantyne is also a big fan of functional kettle bell type exercises. His award winning fitness program "Turbulence Training" utilizes many movements like the hang clean. Craig is the real deal and loves real exercises that produce real results.

Another man who knows what he's talking about is Mike Geary. His "The Truth About Six Pack Abs" program is amazing. He also incorporates unique exercises like the "Seated Rubber Band Shoulder Press". He is a Certified Nutrition Expert. And he is right on about how the low fat and diet food industry is not only deceiving us but they are getting us fatter & killing some of us. Many of Mike's exercises are similar the those we incorporate into the "FATLOSS LIFESTYLE" 12 Week Body Transformation System.

I started doing these type of movements back in 1983 as a power-movement for football. We were taught the big 3, squats, deadlift, and hang-clean.

The "Seated Rubber Band Shoulder Press" Exercise is a vital part of a healthy FATLOSS LIFESTYLE. You can work-out till your blue in the face but if you do not incorporate Interval Cardio (done first thing in the morning in a fasted state), intense functional multi-joint, compound movements, small healthy meals often with protein and carbs combined together, positive mindset, goal setting & social support (you will turn into who you hang around) you will not change your body much.

But if you do focus on the 5 pillars of fitness & health, you will radically change your waistline, your lifestyle, and your life. For more incredible before and after testimonials;

Bill Phillips' www.transformation.com and his original "Body For Life" are were I got my roots. I love Bill's philosophies. Years ago he started "Muscle Media 2000" magazine. In it he blew the whistle on the bodybuilders. He had the balls to tell the truth about exercise, nutrition, and the drug usage that was covered up. Because of Bill I was able to change my life. I hope to meet him someday.

I have a lot of respect for Scott Tousignant & his wife; author of "The Fit Bastard" & "The Fit Chic" & "Unstoppable Fat Loss". I have a lot of respect for him and his philosophies since I have been married for 14 years as well. It is uncommon for a driven entrepreneur to have a great physique, a great on-line business, and a great marriage. Keep up the great work Scott.

Vince Delmonte 's program also has a lot of the same movements as the "Fatloss Lifestyle' System. In his "Your Six Pack Quest" & "No Nonsense Muscle Building" program he uses several of the same techniques that I have been using for years.

Another one of my mentors, Shawn Phillips talks about these types of principles in his "Strength For Life" book. His, "Focus Intensity Training is very similar to my techniques that I use. That is because the principles work. With them, you will be able
build muscle & lose fat fast.

Heather Picken has a lot of positive mind strategies that are very similar to ours. Her "Six-Week Fat Burning and Mind Empowering system is highly successful & for good reason. The stuff in it works.

Valerie Waters has a program called "Red Carpet Ready". It is a great program that incorporates many of the same principles the the "Fat loss Lifestyle" utilizes. She trains many of the celebrities on the west coast. I have been using these principles for over 27 years.

  • It's a functional flexibility exercise. He shouldn't be straining and forcing reps like that. Very dangerous.

  • that trainer should be ashamed

  • Some people get it... and some people just act like they get it... these guys are clowns.

  • the weight is obviously too much for him...good way to get him injured...especially working the rotator cuff.

  • it's working the muscle infraspinatus, not subscapularis part of the rotator cuff so you can't even say it's for "whole rotator cuff". and real deltoid is not a connecting muscle to infraspinatus. again, you don't need to work them together. these are two muscles in different sizes that need different amounts of weight. would it make sense if i told you "just do clean and jerk, don't drop the weight but do one overhead squat at the top"? no it wouldnt. neither does this.

  • the exercise is like it say "functional". it is working the whole rotator cuff and other connecting muscles.

  • So just do rear raises for rear delts and shoulder rotations for rotator cuff separately and safely. Like everyone else does.

  • rear deltoid does not connect to the rotator cuff it iattaches to the shoulder blade and the upper arm bone (humerus). that is why the exercise is being done that way.

  • he is small lol

  • this doesnt make sense.most people can do rear shoulder exercises with more amount of weight than rotator cuff.why do you put these two together?if you use good amount of weight for rotator cuff here, you wont develop rear shoulders because it's light.if you do these with enough amount of weight to force read shoulders, you'll injure your rotator cuff cause it's such a small muscle group.rotator cuff exercises should be performed with light weight,it's not an exercise to show"how much i can lift"

  • you need to decrease the resistance if you are going to be doing that motion

  • are you a fucking asshole! it is heavy for him he is struggling bad your going to blow out his Rotator like that!
