Should use a syringe for the little guy. It's easier for him to eat.

Mix the power with hot water to turn it into a pudding like substance. Keep the mixture WARM...never feed the baby with HOT food or COLD food, and never OVER-feed! (baby bird will vomit when it's being overfed, and it's not good). Some babies will appear to be hungry even after it's pouch in the chest is all puffed up with food.

I use a small ceramic plate for the mixture, and place it into a slightly bigger bowl which contains hot water to keep the food plate warm. Use your little finger to test the mixture's temperature. If you pull the babies out after 3 weeks, the feeding routine is about every 6 hours. You can feed them in the morning when you get up, then another one in the afternoon, and a last feeding before you go to bed.

For the parent birds, you can mix in a little bit of cooked egg york into the pallet everyday for them when they are feeding. Cottle bone is very nutritious and the mother bird needs calcium after laying eggs. Provide the parent birds with different veggie, and fruit, and corn for them to munch on which is healthy for the birds. Good luck!
