Yeah it is but nasheed artists use it because nowadays youths are attracted to music so they use it so we will listen to these rather than Lil Wayne or Jay-Z for example.

@Starz607 salam akhi/ ukhi yeh it is harram to use musical insturments . the propht saw said in a sahi hadith that the use of musical insrutments are harram.

there are many sheikhs that also condemed it.

for example

all 4 madhabs imam sahfi , hambli, malki, hanafi ra upon all of them.

and the scholars that we had also declared it harram, albani, binbaz hatim al hadid, etc etc. so yh if you want i can give u the sahi hadiths. and as for duff thats only allowed on eid / weddings for women
