Long before 'Sin City' or 'The Wrestler', 10 years ago to the month, Mickey spoke to me about the dark period of his life, how he threw his career away, no more friends, and out of his Sunset house (earlier that day). www.HikariTakano.com

  • Hey just don't shoot the messenger. I'm just trying to give them the opportunity to their minds & be absolutely honest. And then sharing some of that magic with y'all.

    Cheers.

  • George Clooney,Matt Damon play themselves in every movie and they are huge stars.Disgraceful...

  • Mickey Rourke is so refreshingly honest and genuine and I really respect that, I'm so glad he is receiving the "comeback" he deserves. What an amazing and brilliant actor! I totally agree about the idea of certain actors just receiving parts because they are "stars" rather than for their actual acting merits.

  • You wake up alone. I never have had or will have the hangers on that Mickey had. Be it because of his fame or fortune or whatever. Yet I think I understand what he means. You let people in your life and you later find they are not what you thought. You get used and if they dont leave you then you must leave them. To survive.

  • Thanx, that was interesting!
