  • Well, at least one the the primary subjects of the video, is in fact, an English speaker. By the way, while I can read your words just fine, the narrator speaks far too fast to understand. It's the same when people speak in any other foreign language for me.

  • I was replying to a Danish guy. I find it amusing to see Danes having a conversation with other Danes or Scandinavians in English. Besides, you kinda have to know Icelandic and/or Danish to watch this video.

  • That's an amusing reply you have. I tend to reply in my language to people who write in theirs. It is the most Esperanto of Esperanto that there could be for European languages, by having a bilingual conversation.

  • De fleste islændinge lærer dansk fra 7. klasse. Den enkelte elev kan alternativt kræve undervisning i norsk, svensk eller finsk men traditionelt vælges dansk af historiske årsager og fordi dansk anses som nøglen til hele norden. Engelsk har dog overtaget pladsen som værende det første fremmedsprog.
