5-year-old plays violin 8 pieces Suzuki Book 1 at 5th birthday party 2-7-09

David 熊若谷played 8 pieces from Suzuki Violin Book 1 and Happy Birthday at his party at Chuck-e-Cheese. He had been playing the violin for exactly 2 years, starting at his 3rd birthday, under the tutelage of his father, who was a professional violinist and is also a child psychologist. Many say David is lucky! But it has not been easy - the right amount of materials, coaxing, demonstration, prompting (David hates to be guided physically), ear-training, stamina, and control of motivation and patience....

Thank you for the compliments! Indeed, it takes a lot of patience, and physical prompting and feedback to teach a 5-year-old on such a complex activity.

He's really good, I can't imagine the time and patience it must take to learn that! lol I keep thinking he's going to hit the robot! I'd be too distracted by that thing staring at me, LOL. Anyways wow he's realy good. I'm sure years from now he'll look back on here and be glad you saved this memory =)
