Why are you jumping on my case? You didn't listen to what I SAID. IT is in fact true that you have to have a qualifying SAT score even to play basketball. It's happened to several players who got offered a scholarship and then couldn't enroll because they didn't qualify. I didn't say you had to be extremely smart. Duke is a higher tiered university so naturally the score requirement is higher than say a lesser university. Don't be such an arrogant jerk!

Do you think everyone who has played basketball at Duke got in on account of their academics? Did the players who went early to the NBA come to get a degree or play sports? You make me wonder if you've ever heard of an athletic scholarship.

You have to be smart to go to Duke? This is news to me. Did Elton Brand have to be smart to go there? Did any of the other players who went there solely for basketball purposes have to be smart? No, that's rediculous.
