@kupkake611 They are genrally considered one shot items, however if you treat them well it is possible to get 3-5 uses per. It is why they are sold in such large packs (20 or so)

Still waiting to see someone open a Master lock.

@kupkake611 Shims arent too delicate, so you would probably be able to use them as many times as you would ever need to. If one breaks, its probably due to someone sitting on it or it getting damaged while not in use rather than actually during unlocking a padlock.
