I stood up at a Jack Johnson gig when everything went silent for a moment and screamed 'Whoo go Joe Jackson play Is She Really Going Out With Him'. I knew it was wrong by the way but so funny having 15000 people + the performer staring at you like you're a dick. Good tune this also.

Saw JJ do the a capella versh live at Thebarton Thtr in Adelaide (Oz) crowd response nearly took the roof off and the great man even staggered back a few steps in mock shock at our appreciation. On drunken nights a ew friends would try and badly imitate this. Thanks for posting. Great memories

thanks for posting, this was taken from Live with the BBC SIGHT IN SOUND IN CONCERT NOTTINGHAM UK 1980, i recorded this on cassette and on Betamax Video, it was on the radio and TV at the same time.

Joe was just so different and i agree, very under rated, he comes from my Place in London Camberwell SE 5

Joe Jackson is to me the most under rated artist ever, his song: real man, was sublime and ofcourse this jewel, I prefer the a capella version.
