We take Jamie through the car wash on a 2009 Suzuki GSX-R 600. He missed the wet weather out in England so we thought this might do the trick.

Attempt 1) "My first attempt ended in total disaster within seconds of the big brushes setting off. I sat bolt upright and wasn't holding the handlebars, so I was pulled right off the back of the bike by the huge spinning wheel as it hit me. I dropped the bike, hit the deck, and spent the next 10 seconds slipping on the floor as I tried to pick the bike up. I failed but instead got a major back rub from the brushes as they closed in and pinned me and the bike down. The manager saw it all and hit the stop button."

Attempt 2) "This time, I got down and held on tight. All was good, but my helmet cam was ripped off, and the cycle ended prematurely when the sensors passed the rear wheel. Water and bubbles are everywhere."

Attempt 3) "For this final attempt, I tried to go with the brushes and keep the wash cycle going by moving back. But motorcycles are just not big enough for car wash sensors. Once they sense some daylight, the wash stops automatically and sends you into an early blow dry. Good fun was had, anyway." - Jamie Robinson, 2Wheel Tuner Magazine April 2010
