@elitenoobs10 Definitely was the monitor - didn't matter what source I hooked up to it. Got a free upgrade to the 25" HP2509m and it worked fine. HP said they were having some quality issues with a new plant in Mexico.

Well I have never heard of this happening to anyone else with this monitor in particular so you have not put me off getting it
