@Allujallu It's a Rhode directional condenser mic. We hooked it up to a H3 Zoom camera on a monopod so we could keep it separate from my 5D MKII. -Alex

@LocalPosse Is this the Rode Video Mic or NTG-2? And is the H3 necessary to achieve that sound quality or can I just hook it up to a DSLR?

@OmniBeatbox Video Mic, and no the H3 isn't necessary, you should be fine hooking it up to your DSLR. We just wanted to be able to keep the camera and mic physically separate so we could keep the mic right on his mouth.
