@j3wl3acca So where do real diseases and conditions come from? Does the nervous system that runs inside and along the spine control every cell of the body? Chiropractic...the "Real Deal".
-
@j3wl3acca I help a gastroenterologist who believes chiropractic is more of the "Real" deal. I also had four MD's in my chiro class who left medicine to be the 'Real" deal.

@TheMrTurtlebob Er, you're a shmuck. A plethora of evidence based research supports chiropractic.

Chiropractic is not evidence based, and there profession is dying. Why don't you use real statistics Averagebum2? Oh, thats right you can't. Chiropractic has yet to produce one double blind study showing cause and correlation, and your "belief" also has the highest default rate out of all "doctors". Its a shame you have to lie to yourself. Case in point - You're a joke.

@j3wl3acca i can respect that a chiropractor is a dr, but i still dont think its the same as a MD. Im pretty certain all the MD's i know dont consider a chiropractor as a "real doctor"
-
i dont get it, why would you bother being a DC if its the same time, money and effort as a MD? you certainly wouldnt go through that much just to be a "massage therapist" and sure medicine kills people, but thats also because they have real diseases and problems, not just back pain... you dont hear about people dying from seeing a dentist. comparing apples and oranges when it comes to dying patients.

I guess we can all say chiropractic has attained full utilization in the U.S. At the present 45 million Americans seek chiropractic care. The U.S. Dept. of Health and Human Services projects 60,000,000 Americans under chiropractic care by 2017. Last year my chiropractic office recieved 20 new patients/month whilst this year we average 30 new patients/month. I don't advertise. Viva ChiropracTIC!

@Averagebum2 uh-huh.

@9pt9 Shamanism has also been "evidence-based" for thousands of years. People look to Shamanism because it consistently delivers a powerful clinical benefit.
@Averagebum2 Chiropractic most certainly has been "evidence-based" for a hundred years. People refer to chiropractic because it consistantly delivers a powerful clinical benefit. "Building rapport" ??? LOLOL. You'll believe ANYTHING before admitting chiropractic works!

ggoutaura , if you have a doctorate, then you are called doctor, this applies to, MD, DO, PhD, DDS, DC, etc.. Chiropractors are not claiming to be medical doctors. College professors with PhD's are addressed as "doctor", are you saying that they should not be allowed to call themselves "doctor"?
