  • The Cider House Rules

  • Zeitgeist!! Ever thought of doing a weekly or monthly book review??

  • The people in this movie club might as well be like, ”I’ve heard good things about Citizen Kane. I hope they do a remake in HD so I can see what all the fuss is about.”

  • The 60’s and 70’s were a time when directors had total artistic freedom to be as subversive as they wanted, they even had the same NPAA standards of today (by the mid 70’s). The executives that allowed this to happen were gone by the 80’s, and the new wave of business school graduates came in and took final cut away from the directors, and made focus groups the main concern. You’re really doing yourself a disservice by limiting your movie watching to a post 80’s world.

  • I just got to say Phil, just because a movie is old or in black and white it can be still worth seeing. Some of the best movies of all time fall in to those catigories.

  • You should watch the 1st Halloween.

  • @Alfeetoe Oh! You're the epic poster guy!

  • @rodertjenkins The reason it's out of focus is intentional...lenses do that with wide apertures. I have a video going over the poster in detail on my channel though, if you're still interested (I know this is late, but oh well)

  • Watch aliens
