This song is really old... but it started in the region around lahore, so u cant say its from Indian part of the punjab.... but either way the whole argument is stupid... Its from the days before the partition so it belongs to both Pakistan and India...

this is a whole lot of confution....in between the song,it sounds like gujrati....''ee jeere...''and all that music is purely gujrati folk...there is the word ''gujrat'' also mentioned in the song...then,how can that be a punjabi song....????do reply if you know something about this....
