it is too bad that you opted for that so-called oldie-world vision for the video.

Just reading a PG Wodehouse book "The Butler Did it" (late 1950's) where he mentions an old wastrel going out on a drunk and doing his dreaded Beatrice Lillie imitation. Was/is Lady B a drag goddess like Kay Thompson?

Someone gave me a pile of records and in it was A Night with Beatrice Lillie or a 'conversation' w/ B. Lillie, and I innocently put it on thinking it would be a laugh or maybe not. It was the wittiest, most intelligent, most hysterical thing I've EVER heard by a performer. I couldn't breathe from laughing. She is so good it's shocking. I cannot understand why her songs haven't been stolen by current performers; maybe they can't do them. I understood at once why other performers idolized her.
