Theres such a depth of emotion in this. Dolly meant it to be heartbreaking and soft,..not an anthem,as Whitney did it.Dolly also used this song at the end of her show.

Dolly did great but Whitney did outstanding. Yes Dolly wrote it, but Whitney made it come alive. And this is coming from a fan of both Whitney and Dolly. Whitney's rendition touches people in ways Dolly's can't. It goes without saying that Whitney's vocals were better. Thanks Dolly for writing this beautiful song and thanks Whitney for making it legendary
