  • ah my family if only they didnt sell the comp.

  • I have an aqua pen and pencil set, original condition in leather silk lined box, it was bought in 1954. A young man gave it to my sister as he was leaving for the military, he ask her to write to him "every day", don't know if she did or not.

  • that was a fine pen that's still in demand today

  • Sheaffer's Fountain Pen are wonderful love the old Sheaffer's Fountain Pen traded a Montblanc for a Sheaffer's Pen For Men (PFM) Fountain Pen.. Eehel should of gave Fred a Snorkel PFM.

  • @inkey2

There are still people who consider fountain pens excellent gifts to give or receive. I have a Snorkel, in fact, as well as a number of other fountain pens, both modern and vintage. At the same time that there are people who don't like to write longhand because "it makes my hand hurt" (btw, if it makes your hand hurt, loosen your grip and don't press so hard on the paper), there are others who are discovering the world of fountain pens and penmanship.

  • Loved Vivian Vance.. thanks for clip.

  • So, lynching innocent people -- like they did with African-Americans in the first half of the twentieth century -- isn't a violent crime? Or perhaps more apropos, Vivian Vance was in an alleged abusive marriage in the 1940s and 1950s. Do you not consider spousal abuse a crime?

  • @cosmos34 LOL That's why today people walk in fear just about everywhere, and decades ago violent crime was virtually non-existent.

  • @primogennaio Yes, because slavery and the oppression of women are so "orderly" and "civil".

  • @Astharot90 Everything was so fake yet people still bought the things and even now you see monkeys/robots that appreciate these audio visual materials. What is difficult to see is that it's the same today.Selling for the blind sheep at the lowest production costs.
