An American Kirtan! THIS is how I discovered Spirituality. Thanks to the Creators of this who made the Gospels accessible to athiests like me! I just returned from Assisi and Rome where the stories of the Clara and Francesco haunt me. How like the Cast of Godspell they were - taking the teachings to the street and putting them into an action that is understandable to someone like me....

@larkluster Oh my gosh...that is so awesome..... god I wish I was born when gene kelly and this were still cool. You met everyone from Godspell!!! You were in it!!! Lucky.....im only 12...lol in fact I just turned twelve today! But, WOW thats so cool!!!!!!! :DD

Wow I can't believe the original cast is writing on here, hahaha. Seeing that made my day today. I got the lead for Jesus 3 weeks ago for a production of Godspell in CA. I feel inspired to to hear you all chatting on here. I feel like I'm meeting you even more now. The performance was amazing to, such a beautiful musical.

This is SUCH a treat!!! I love this show, having done it in high school in 1986-- and to see that there are original cast members here and commenting is SO COOL to me. You were and are an inspiration-- your energy and enthusiasm for this great show has helped make it the everlasting treasure it is today. Thank you so much for posting this!!! :)

Omg! I almost forgot we did the Grammys. We did so many tv shows back then. I miss my buddy Lamar. He and I shared a dressing room @ the Cherry Lane theatre. The newbies to the LaMama cast. I can remember the smell of the theatre. Yummm. JJ
