from what ive heard mike smith incorporated actual tempo based blast beats into music but drummers had used it before but not as an actual beat

@Youmiketube10 no. the blast has been around for years. it first originated through jazz drummers.

It's disk 2 of the Roadrunner United album, celebrating Roadrunner Records' 25-year anniversary. It's actually a pretty neat and unique project as opposed to a simple compilation album.
