The only Flying Nun Records TV Commercial ever made, was for the "In Love With These Times" compilation released in 1990. Features excerpts from existing music videos, intro and outro shot on 16mm featuring Angelique Meyer, and titles by Brett Orams.

Concept and direction by Stuart Page and Grant Fell (Brilliant Films 1989).

The actual storyboard for the commercial concept was used for the LP/CD cover art and a poster. The poster was recently shrunk down to postcard size and is currently being used to promote http://www.nzonscreen.com/

  • Nah wasn't Liz, I know and remember her. I can see the gal, I think she may have gone out with someone like Graeme Jefferies? Um, she had really dark features, smoked, and had that voice. Sure she did some BFM action, probably around the time Lisa Van Der Aarde was ruling it with Freak The Sheep.

  • Did this ever make it to CD? spotify fail, 20 year old audio cassette, but modern house = no tapedeck, not even in the car. Obsolete format fail. But such a great record. Anyone still pressing it? 2nd hand vinly might be the only way.

  • Holy shit Stu, I honestly can't remember. It could be Liz Tan who was station manager at Bfm at the time and would come around to Anglesea Street quite a bit to see Debbie Watson...

  • @kiwimike42 I have it on vinyl, I can upload the whole album somewhere if you want.

  • Ive got this on Vinyl. Awesome record.

  • @sootyshearwater: No, not Karyn... I'll update the credits when I find out from Grant.

  • @russb10: Good question, I remember her but not her name, Grant suggested her, I have a feeling she did some DJ'ing at BFM, Grant...???
