@leslycatly12 the guy who wrote the script for monkey island , wrote the script for pirates of caribbean , unfortunately the wrong one got made

@leslycatly12 There was going to be one, in 2000, but it never went through....know what became of that movie? Pirates of the Carrebean, seriously, the writer went on from Secret of Monkey Island script, made some changes, and did PotC. :[ we'll never get a MI movie.

There was a Monkey Island movie in the works some time ago. It had Spielberg attached, who asked Ted Elliot to pen the script, but the project was scrapped. Years later, Elliot was brought on to do PotC: Curse of the Black Pearl. He retooled his Monkey Island script, and fit it for the film. There you have it.

Why's it "Secret of Monkey Island" trailer. The voice-over is from "Curse of.." *monkey-nerd faace*

@PrincessAshiMoo The voice-over is actually from "Escape." I named it after "Secret" because it features more scenes from that game than the others.
