  • JB, that's about the best looking French Dip I've seen. Never tried that packaged Au Jus; I always take some good beef stock, add a smidge of garlic, and cook it down til it's rich and thickened. Do you think the packaged approach is as good? It's sure a helluva lot faster.

    A simple meal, but elegant, and with a 10 on the scale of yum. I like it!

  • jb su jus i should still be good for another couple of months. come and look in my pantry i got chef boyardi from 2004 and its alright.

  • awww french dips. the first kitchen i worked at i would eat two to three french dips a day HOO BOY. i got up to three hundred pounds on that diet lol. make a little horseradish mayo, thin slice tomato and onion, on a good roll and that's the buisness boy
